<span style="color: #222222;">The Executive Councilor for Agriculture and Environment of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Leh Phunchok Stanzin flagged off the Exposure-cum-Training Tour on Organic Farming from Ladakh to Uttarakhand today at the Council Secretariat, Leh. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Congratulating progressive farmers nominated for first-ever exposure tour outside Union Territory of Ladakh under MODI programme, Executive Councilor for Agriculture Phunchok Stanzin urged them to make their tour meaningful by gathering maximum knowledge and know-how in organic farming. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He further said assessment for benefits will be done from this exposure tour and on that basis, more training will be planned for other progressive farmers of the District by the LAHDC, Leh.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Twenty-five progressive farmers have been nominated for this week-long tour starting from January 21. It is the part of LAHDC, Leh Policy on Organic Agriculture Mission Organic Development Initiative (MODI). Under the policy, the entire Leh district of the Union Territory is targeted to achieve Organic farming by 2025. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">These farmers will visit Uttarakhand State Organic Farming Institute, where they will be provided three-day training.</span><br />''
