First ever Day-Night Test match will be played at Adelaide on 27th of November this year. Cricket Australia and New Zealand Cricket have agreed for the experimental day-night Test. The test match which will be played with a pink Kookaburra ball and it will be the third and final match of the series between Australia and New Zealand.Cricket Australia Chief Executive James Sutherland has expressed hope that the idea would increase interest in the game. However, New Zealand Cricket Player's Association said, its members were nervous about the experiment.Meanwhile, ICC Chief Executive David Richardson has congratulated Cricket Australia and New Zealand Cricket, on their landmark decision to play a day-night Test.
