First Cricket Test between India, Sri Lanka to begin at Galle today

India and host Sri Lanka will lock horns in the first Cricket Test of three match series at Galle today. The match will start at 10 am. Changes will be evident in both the camps. With conditions favouring spin, India would like to go with 5 bowlers, an extra spinner in the playing eleven. Whereas the hosts will rely on veteran and stand in skipper Rangana Herath, who has 93 wickets under his name at Galle. If opener KL Rahul who is down with fever, misses out, Shikhar Dhawan and Abhinav Mukund are likely to open for India. On other side, rival's new Test skipper Dinesh Chandimal will be unavailable owing to pneumonia. In his absence, Rangana Herath will lead for Sri Lanka. The two teams, besides three Tests, will also play Five one day Internationals and one T-20 match during the one and a half month long bilateral series. Speaking at a press conference yesterday ahead of the series captain Virat Kohli expressed his positivity about team India's performance. Expressing his confidence he said, Indian team have done their homework for the Sri Lanka tour. All India Radio will broadcast ball by ball commentary of all the matches. On the first day of Galle Test today the commentary will start at 0930 Hours to till the end of day's play which can be heard on Rajdhani and FM Gold plus RNLD channels. Commentary of the remaining four days of the Test will begin at 0950 Hours.
