The first COVID-19 patient of Manipur has been discharged from Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) hospital today. AIR Correspondent reports, the 23 year old patient was tested positive of Novel Coronavirus on 24th March and she had travel history from UK to Manipur. <br />''<br />''She was hospitalized at JNIMS hospital and a team of doctors was assigned for her treatment.  Speaking to AIR News, Director of JNIMS Prof. Th. Bhimo said, a meeting of doctors of JNIMS and Manipur State Surveillance team was held this morning and discussed the health conditions of the patient. As the patient had not shown any symptoms of COVID-19 for last 11 days and was found negative of virus three times, it was decided to discharge the patient. <br />''<br />''He said, the patient is physically fit now and having food properly. However, she will be in compulsory home quarantine for 14 days and abide the rules of quarantine. A team of three doctors will monitor her health conditions every day and a test for COVID-19 will be done after completion of home quarantine. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">So far, Manipur has recorded two positive cases of Novel Coronvirus. Another patient, who had attended the religious congregation at Nizamuddin of Delhi is undergoing treatment at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Imphal.</span><br />
