The first consignment of indigenous COVID vaccine for UT Ladakh arrived in Leh today for the vaccination of First Phase of COVID vaccination. Under the First Phase, Ladakh received 11,500 doses of Covishield. Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal and UT Medical Director Dr Phunsog Angchuk have received it at the Khushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport, Leh. AIR correspondent reports that there was jubilation at the airport as well as at the Chief Medical Officer's Office where the vaccine was stored before distribution on 16th January as part of National Priority programme.<br />'' <br />''Ladakh received the COVID vaccine from Pune's Serum Institute of India.
