The first consignment of COVID vaccine reached Telangana a short while ago. Over 3.7 lakh doses in over 30 boxes of Covishield manufactured by the Serum Institute have arrived at Samshabad International Airport in a cargo flight. The same has been moved to a COVID centre located at Koti in Hyderabad for keeping it in cold conditions. The arrival of the Vaccine in Telangana is a part of the nationwide roll out of the COVID vaccine on 16th of this month.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''AIR correspondent reports, the first consignment of Covishield vaccine has been transported to the Storage Centre located at Koti in Hyderabad through a green traffic channel. Senior officials from Public Health, Police and other departments have coordinated the fast track green channel to clear the traffic for the freezer vehicle from the Samshabad International airport to the Storage Centre located at Koti which is about 40 kilometres. The officials and the staff have accorded a traditional welcome to the vaccine consignments.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The state authorities have made elaborate arrangements at 1,213 centres across the state for the rolling out of COVID vaccine as part of the nationwide vaccination on 16th of this month.
