Haryana Chief Minister Manhohar Lal Khattar and his cabinet Ministers today assumed the charge of his office at Haryana Civil Secretriat Chandigarh today.
Newly appointed Minister Anil Vij in an informal interaction with the media persons at Haryana Secretariat said that the new BJP Government would probe Robert Vadra's controversial land deals and guilty will be punished irrespective of their status.
Also, Cabinet Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said that an enquiry on land deals would be initiated and a sitting High Court Judge will be appointed to probe the matter.
AIR Correspondent reports that just after the swearing in ceremony, newly elected Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar presided over the first meeting with elected representatives of the State, Administrative Secretaries and Head of the Departments.
Within couple of hours of being sworn in as Haryana chief minister, Manohar Lal Khattar and his newly appointed cabinet ministers held their first formal introductory meeting with top officers of the state. While addressing the officers, Mr Khattar said that bureaucrats and politicians share the equal responsibility to run the government. He urged the officers that welfare of the people should be ultimate aim of their work.
He emphasized that all officers should perform their duties with utmost dedication in the interest of people of the state.
Also, the first meeting of the Council of Ministers is scheduled to be held tomorrow.
