The first batch of 26 Indian workers from Saudi Arabia is reaching New Delhi this evening from Jeddah. <br/><br/>External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup informed that once they arrive, the respective state governments will make arrangements for onward travel to their home towns. <br/><br/>Mr Swarup said India appreciates the magnanimous view taken by the Saudi Arabian government of granting exit visas expeditiously and agreeing to bear the expenses for the travel of the workers who wish to return to India. <br/><br/>Minister of State for External Affairs, V K Singh had visited Saudi Arabia last week and held meetings with the Saudi Labour Minister and other senior dignitaries on the issue of Indian workers.
