Union Minister for Minorities Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi was present on the occasion. <br />''<br />''He said that Indian Haj pilgrims should pray for happiness and prosperity for entire human kind and should be kept safe from all kinds of disasters. In the first batch of pilgrims, 410 are from Maharashtra which include 207 men and 203 women. <br />''<br />''Nearly eight thousand pilgrims will leave for Haj from Mumbai embarkation point this time. Mr. Naqvi said that, Modi Government has brought many improvements including emphasis on online arrangement. He also informed that a total of 79,237 pilgrims are going to Haj from India which include nearly 50 per cent women.</span><br />
