In Maharashtra, five companies of Central Armed Police Forces, CAPF have arrived in Mumbai and will start taking their positions from today. The five companies comprise the first batch of the 20 companies of Central forces sought by the State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh for assistance in the fight against the COVID-19 as over 1,200 of the State Police personnel are battling with the virus infection after testing positive.<br />''<br />''According to Mumbai Police, of the five companies of CAPFs, three are from the Central Industrial Security Force while the rest are from the Central Reserve Police Force, each company consists of 120 personal who are fully trained and armed to deal with any existence arising out of the enforcing the lockdown.<br />''<br />''According to sources, these five companies would be split into Zone 1, Zone 3, Zone 6 and Zone 9, which cover South Mumbai, South Central Mumbai, Eastern suburbs and Bandra to Andheri in the west side. However, Mumbai Police will continue with their present deployment following the Health Department guidelines of not pressing doze off and above the age of 55 on duty.<br />
