Firing in Art of Living ashram not aimed on Ravi Shankar: Police?

The Director General and IG of Police in Karnataka Ajay Kumar Singh has made it clear that the firing in Art of Living foundation ashram on the outskirts of Bangalore on Sunday was not aimed at Sri Sri Ravi Shankar as he had already left when the firing occurred. <br/> <br/>He was speaking after inspecting the incident spot today morning. He briefed that investigation, for now, points out that .32 weapon was used and probably aimed at sky. <br/> <br/>The trajectory of the bullet shows it came down and hit a disciple at around 6.00 pm on Sunday. <br/> <br/>Meanwhile, a day after an attempt was made on his life by an unidentified gunman, spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar on Monday said he is happy with the existing security and has forgiven the attacker, whom the police are yet to identify.<br/> <br/> Speaking to the press at his ashram in Bangalore this morning, Ravishankar said, he heard a loud noise, but remained calm. The spiritual leader yesterday escaped a bid on his life when an unidentified gunman shot at his car when he was returning after delivering a discourse. <br/> <br/>Ravishankar said, he has no enemies and even invited the shooter to join his satsang course to learn about meditation and Sudarshan Kriya. <br/> <br/>The 54-year-old Art of Living founder said he was happy with the existing security cover, which police stepped up after last evening's incident. Police said, the shell fired by the fire arm has been recovered. <br/>
