In Punjab, BSF repulsed an intrusion bid from across the border by 7-8 persons at Chakri border outpost in Dorangla sector of Gurdasur district. According to the BSF officials the suspicious movement observed near the international border in wee hours and BSF personnel started firing towards the point. <br/><br/>The infiltrators were on the Indian side but behind the barbed wire fencing. BSF officials said, on being challenged and fired intruders retreated towards Pakistan. Search operation is going on in the area. BSF officials said, it was an intrusion bid only.
