In Israel, firefighting crews and equipment from abroad have started arriving to help the country battle the most devastating blaze in its history, which claimed 40 lives. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called the fire a disaster on an international scale and called for international help. The huge brushfire raging across the Carmel Mountains near Haifa has resulted the death of 40 Prison guards and fire-fighters that were being brought to aid in evacuating the prisoners. According to a statement of Israeli Defence Ministry, Israeli army is helping fire fighters and police forces in the area and nearly 15,000 people have been evacuated from their homes.
