At least 22 people have been killed and one severely burnt in a spreading grassland fire in a mountainous Tibetan region in southwest China. Government officials said the fire trapped soldiers and local residents trying to put out the blaze. The wild fire broke out in Daofu County, Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze, Sichuan Province around noon today. Latest report said the fire was under control.
