At least one girl child has been killed after fire broke out in two AC coaches of Howrah-Dehradun Express in Giridih district of Jharkhand in the wee hours of today. Divisional Railway Manager of Dhanbad said that the fire was spotted in the coaches between Parasnath and Nimiaghat stations .He said that the relief train and ambulance have been sent to the spot. According to a Railway Ministry spokesperson in New Delhi, the fire broke out at 2.30 am in B-1 AC coach and then spread to B-2 AC coach. He said that both coaches have been detached from the train. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained and an inquiry has been ordered by the Commissioner, Railway Safety . The Railways has set up a helpline for relatives of the passengers.
