<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister of State for Home, G Kishan Reddy today said fire accidents continue to be a major cause for concern. Addressing a gathering on the occasion of Formation Day of National Disaster Management Authority in New Delhi, the Minister said fire accidents can lead to huge loss of life and property if not handled well. <br />''<br />''He stressed on coordinated approach by all stakeholders and agencies saying that mitigation and preparedness is necessary. Mr Reddy said there is need for more research and development in the area. He urged the stakeholders to deliberate on issues and come out with recommendations to further improve fire safety regime in country.</span><br />
