In Uttar Pradesh, police today lodged an FIR against the BJP candidate from Mathura constituency Hema Malini for violation of model code of conduct.

She has been charged with holding a meeting in a school without permission two days ago.

ADM Finance DK Sachan said that after screening the video footage of the meeting it was found that not only the meeting was convened without taking any prior permission but also minor students were present which is illegal as per rules.
