In Kerala, the CBI today filed an FIR against three customs officials for forging documents and taking away electronic goods sent to a private individual from Dubai.The FIR was filed before the CBI Court in Kochi against the then Assistant Customs Commissioner at the Cochin International Airport KS Chandrasekhar, Customs Superintendent MP Savithri and Preventive Officer PRP Panicker.The individual refused to accept the consignment due to heavy customs duty, following which the first accused Chandrasekhar forged documents and took away the electronic goods, with the connivance of the other two.The CBI had raided the residence of Chandrasekhar in Bangalore and seized the electronic goods.
