An FIR has been registered against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray for allegedly making a provocative statement at an election rally held in Yavatmal in Maharashtra in support of his party candidate on April 7.

Police said that while addressing the rally, he allegedly asked the farmers not to commit suicides and instead kill those who have done injustice to them.
