In Uttar Pradesh district administration of Gautam Buddha Nagar has set up a four member team consisting an additional superintendent of police and a deputy superintendent of police. The team was constituted with the direction of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes to register FIRs against policemen accused of raping seven women in Bhatta Parsaul village during farmers agitation in the month of May.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that denying charges of rape made by the commission on the basis of affidavits of victim women, both district magistrate and district police chief on Monday have written a joint letter to the principle home secretary of the state in this regard. Giving sequence of incidents they have said that allegations of rape had never come on the surface even during visits of National Commission for Women, National Human Rights Commission and team of National Commission for Scheduled Castes.
