After an FIR was registered against stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma for alleged unauthorised construction at his flat in suburban Goregaon, the forest officials visited his office in Versova in suburban Andheri yesterday and surveyed its premises and surrounding areas.<br/><br/>Assistant Forest Conservator Makarand Ghodke told agencies today that following instructions from the chief conservator of the forest, a team visited the spot and found that there have been violations not only by Sharma, but 50-60 other flat owners also. <br/><br/>The official said all these occupants have harmed the mangroves in their constructions and have made alterations. He said they have taken the GPS reading and will come out with final report in a day or two which will be submitted to the collector to take a final call. The Oshiwara Police had yesterday registered an FIR against Sharma following a complaint filed by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) sub-engineer Abhay Jagtap for alleged unauthorised construction at his flat in suburban Goregaon. Based on the complaint, Sharma was booked under section 53(7) of Maharashtra Regional Town Planning Act (MRTP) 1966.
