In Kerala, the Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau has registered an FIR against Opposition Leader in the Assembly and CPI(M) veteran V S Achuthanandan as an accused in the alleged allotment of government land. Former Kerala Minister and CPI leader K P Rajendran is the second among the eight accused in the case. The FIR will be submitted in the Vigilance Court in Kozhikode by this evening. AIR correspondent reports, it is alleged that 2.2 acres of government land in Kasargod district was allotted to an ex-servicemen related to Achuthanandan while he was Chief Minister.
