The Finance Secretary Mr Ashok Chawla today launched an 'e-Office' programme developed by National Informatics Centre in New Delhi. It provides a platform for personalized, role based, secure access to internal information for the employees that is accessible through any browser.The implementation of this system is expected to improve the employee productivity by introducing collaborative working in digital workspace and thus pave the way towards paperless office.
