The Budget Session of Parliament will begin tomorrow. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will present Narendra Modi-led NDA government's maiden budget on the 10th of this month. The Economic Survey will be released on the 9th July and the Railway Budget on the 8th. The session, ending on 14th August, will have 28 sittings.The government has said that it is ready to discuss any issue on the floor of the House. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu appealed to the opposition to cooperate with the government in transacting business in a smooth manner besides maintaining the decorum in the House.Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan chaired an all- party meeting yesterday to ensure smooth conduct of business in the House. She told reporters that all parties have promised their cooperation for a productive session.Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge has assured full cooperation of his party during the session. Kalyan Banerjee of Trinamool Congress said that his party wants a discussion on rail fair hike, price rise, internal security and federalism after the presentation of Rail and General budgets.
