Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that the Centre and the State governments will have to work together under the spirit of cooperative federalism for the benefit of the people. She was delivering the Second P. Parameswaran Memorial lecture on Cooperative Federalism in Thiruvananthapuram on 5th November 2022.<br />'' <br />'' Mrs. Sitharaman emphasised the importance of mutual trust between the Government and the people for the growth of the country. The Minister also expressed gratitude towards the citizens for making India the 5th largest economy in the world.<br />'' <br />'' Finance Minister Sitharaman, who is on a one-day visit to Kerala, also inaugurated the Balaramapuram Handloom Producer Company and Common Facility Centre. She stressed the need to explore the possibilities of e-marketing in the handloom sector using platforms like Government e-Marketplace.  <br />'' <br />''Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan delivered the keynote address at the Inaugural ceremony. Mrs.Sitharaman also held discussions with various industry associations, including the Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kerala Gramin Bank Association.
