<span style="color: #222222;">Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman today made budgetary provision of Rs. 5,976 crore &nbsp;for Nagpur Metro Phase-II (Two) . The Phase II of Nagpur Metro covers the rural parts of Nagpur district and will serve as an extension to the on-going first phase. The proposed Phase-II will be spread over 43.8 km length with 32 stations.<br />'' <br />'' The corridors identified for Phase II of Nagpur Metro include, Automotive Square to Kanhan ,MIHAN to Butibori MIDC &nbsp;Prajapati Nagar to Transport Nagar and Lokmanya Nagar to Hingna : &nbsp;The entire Phase II network is elevated. The first phase of Maha Metro Nagpur is progressing well and as per scheduled timelines.<br />'' <br />'' This development will particularly help those employed in industrial areas of Nagpur and have to commute long-distance daily. The leader of Opposition &amp; Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Devendra Fadnavis has welcomed this provision in Budget and said that this proposal was sent during his tenure of Maharashtra Government.</span><br />'' <br />'' <br />'' &nbsp;<br />
