A team of the 14th Finance Comission is visiting Ranchi on a two day tour from today to assess the needs of Jharkhand. The team includes Chairman of the Commission Dr. Y B Reddy and five Members of the Commission. Our Ranchi Correspondent reports that the Central team will meet representative members from various political parties, local panchayats of different regions and people from trade and commerce. The State government is planning to submit a memorandum to the visiting team of Finance Commission. The last Finance Commission had granted Rs 3600 crores to Jharkhand in last four years.
