Italy has put the final death toll from the devastating avalanche to 29. Final bodies were pulled out of the rubble of a hotel crushed by tons of snow in Rigopiano in central Italy. <br/><br/>According to the update issued by Firefighters, nine people were rescued and two escaped.<br/><br/>The ensuing landslide and avalanche dumped upwards of 60,000 tons of snow, rocks and uprooted trees on top of the resort, burying the 40 people inside in the mountainous central region of Abruzzo on 18th of this month.
