The Body of Veteran Communist Leader and former West Bengal Chief Minister, Jyoti Basu will be taken out from the Mortuary called ‘Peace Heaven’ in Central Kolkata on Tuesday at 07.30 in the morning. It will pass through Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road, Park Street, Acharya Jagdish Chandra Bose Road and Alimuddin Street to reach the CPI(M) State party Headquarters, the Muzaffar Ahmed Bhavan. <br/><br/>From there, the body will be taken to the State Secretariat Writers’ Buildings where the Chief Minister, Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharjee and the State Chief Secretary, Mr. Asoke Mohan Chakraborty will pay tributes to the departed leader. <br/><br/>The body will then be taken to the State Assembly House where it will be kept till 03.00 p.m., facilitating paying of last respect to the Veteran Communist Leader by Legislators and the common man. A full State honour will be paid to Jyoti Basu at Moharkunj after which the donated body of the leader will be handed over to authorities of Seth Sukhlal Karrnani Memorial (SSKM) Hospital as Jyoti Basu had Donated his entire body for Medical Research.<br/><br/>It may be mentioned that for the last journey, a host of high profile visitors will visit Kolkata to pay their last respect to the departed communist leader. <br/><br/>They are former Prime Minister, Mr. H. D. Devegowda, the Bangladesh Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina with a forty-member strong delegation, the UPA Chairperson, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, BJP leader, Mr. L. K. Advani, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, Mrs. Susma Swaraj and the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu. <br/><br/>Apart from them the Union Finance Minister, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Union Agriculture Minister, Mr. Sharad Pawar, the Union Urban Development minister, Mr. S. Jaipal Reddy, former Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Mr. P. A. Sangma, the Bhutanese Prime Minister, Mr. H. E. Lyonpo Ugen Tshering, Governor of Tripura, Mr. D. Y. Patil and Chief Minister of Tripura and Kerala, Mr. Manik Sarkar and Mr. V. S. Achyutanandan.
