Final Cricket Test: South Africa 72 for 2 at stumps on day-4 against India

Chasing India's mammoth 481 runs lead , South African batsmen employed an ultra defensive approach reaching 72 for 2 at stumps on day 4 of the 4th and final Cricket Test at the Ferozeshah Kotla grounds in Delhi today. Showing immense patience, the visitors batted 72 overs for 72 runs after the loss of their openers D Elgar for 4 and T.Bavuma for 34. Hashim Amla with 23 and AB de Villiers on 11 were at the crease at stumps. Earlier, Ajinkya Rahane achieved a rare distinction of scoring hundreds in both the innings of a Test match. Immediately after Rahane's 100, India declared their second innings at 267 for 5 after resuming at overnight score of 190 for 4. Skipper Virat Kohli contributed 88 runs in the second innings.
