The final and the last W 20 engagement group meeting began in Chennai on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the virtual inaugural address tomorrow. Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smt Smriti Irani will deliver the keynote address.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' Speaking to the media in Mamallapuram near Chennai on Wednesday, the Chair of W 20 Dr. Sandhya Purecha said that till now the W 20 has included more than one lakh women from various sectors. She said that Prime Minister Modi had emphasized on women-led development and this would take place in the communique which will be considered in September where the leaders will meet. She said that five task forces of more than 150 women delegation had come together. Dr Sandhya told that 158 women delegates from 28 countries will participate in the E 20 engagement group. Addressing the media the Chief Coordinator, W 20, Ms. Dharitri Patnaik said that India has been working with knowledge and network partners. She told that women from grassroots, entrepreneurs and from all sections of the society were involved in the discussions and also in the Jan Bhagidhari event.<br />'' <br />'' W 20 has been working in five key areas namely encouraging women entrepreneurs, bridging digital divide, grassroot leadership, education and skill development for women.&nbsp;She said that W 20 has been working with 21 knowledge partners.<br />'' <br />'' She said that a policy recommendation would be put forward and the communique will be released by Union Minister Smriti Irani. The side event today is Jan Bhagidhari where grass root leaders will speak about their experiences.
