Finance Minister P. Chidambaram in a Google Plus hangout on Monday responded to queries of citizens about the budget and discussed the Indian Economy with a panel of industry leaders. In his first Google Plus hangout interaction,speaking on a Women's fund, the Finance Minister said, there are ideas which emerged in discussion with the Prime Minister and working with NGOs can help to decide how the fund can be used. Regarding the women's bank, Mr. Chidambaram said, his ministry wanted to finish all preparatory work in March so that it can start execution in April.
