Minister Manish Tewari today said, even though censorship has been working very well in India, filmmakers should follow self-regulation. Speaking to reporters in Panaji, Mr Tewari said the government has a legal architecture that works very well. He was talking to media after inaugurating Film Bazaar organised by the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC), held on the sidelines of IFFI 2012 in Goa.
The minister said, Indian cinema has a glorious legacy which needs to be protected. Mr Tewari said, during 12th five year plan his ministry proposed to implement national heritage mission.
