The Chairman of Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal, Ajay Sarpotdar died in Pune today after a prolonged illness. He was 51.Sarpotdar had produced many documentaries and was also associated with film distribution. He had also directed a film titled 'Painjan'. As the chairman of the apex body of Marathi film makers, he had facilitated substantial financial assistance at government level for the movie producers.<br/><br/>
