The filing of nominations for upcoming parliament and assembly elections in Nepal has begun. Candidates are filing their papers in 32 districts today for the first phase of elections scheduled on November 26. In the first round polling will be held for 37 House of Representative's constituencies and 74 State Assembly constituencies. Nominations in remaining 45 districts will be filed on November 2 and voting for the second and final round will take place on December 7. As per the new constitution of Nepal, it is necessary to complete, local, province and parliament elections by January 21 next year.
