The filing of nominations for the 9th and last phase of Lok Sabha elections will begin today with issuance of notifications.

41 constituencies spread over 3 States will go to polls in this phase on the 12th of May.

Out of 41 seats, 18 are in Uttar Pradesh, 17 in West Bengal and 6 in Bihar.

The last date for filing of nominations for this phase will be 24th of this month. Scrutiny will take place the next day. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is 28th April.
