In Chhattisgarh, filing of nominations for the first phase of elections to the municipal bodies began today. This will continue up to the 8th of this month. In the first phase, elections to a total of 14 municipal councils and 87 Town panchayats will be held on the 21st of this month. The second phase of elections, for which nominations will begin from tomorrow, will be held on the 23 rd of this month. A total of 9 Municipal Corporations, 12 Municipal Councils and 32 Town Panchayats will go the polls in the second phase of elections.<br/>
