Filing of nominations ends for 1st Phase of Bihar Assembly Elections

<span style="color: #222222;">In Bihar, filing of nomination process ended today for the first phase of state assembly elections in 71 constituencies.<br />'' <br />'' A large number of candidates of many major political parties like BJP, RJD, Congress, LJP, RLSP, Vikas Sheel Insan Party (VIP) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) filed their nomination on the last day.<br />'' <br />'' The scrutiny of the nomination paper will be held tomorrow. The last date of withdrawal of candidature is 12th of this month and polling will be held on 28th October.<br />'' <br />'' In the first phase 41 candidates of JD(U) have filed their nominations. BJP has given tickets to 29 candidates and one seat has been left for VIP.<br />'' <br />'' On the other hand in the Grand alliance RJD is contesting in 42 seats. While its allies Congress and CPI (ML) are contesting in 21 and 08 seats respectively.<br />'' <br />''<br />''Several dissident and rebel leaders who are deprived of tickets are trying their political fortune on party symbols of LJP, BSP and RLSP.</span>
