In Goa, three nominations were received today on the first day of filing of nominations for the Assembly polls slated for March 3. All the three nominations are for Porvorim Assembly constituency in North Goa. 13 February is the last date for filing nominations.Meanwhile, seven election expenditure observers, 4 for north and 3 for south Goa district, arrived in Goa today to keep a check on the election expenditure by the candidates. Twenty General Observers appointed by the Election Commission of India, eleven for north and nine for the south Goa, will arrive in the state on February 13.
