In Kerala, filing of nomination papers begins with the issuance of notification today for next month's assembly elections. Nomination can be filed till 26th of this month and scrutiny will be done on 28th. Last date for withdrawal is 30th. The single phase election to 140 member Kerala assembly is on 13th of next month. Meanwhile, Congress led UDF is holding a high level meeting at Thiruvananthapuram in connection with announcement of candidates and election manifesto. Congress party is expected announce candidates on Monday.
