Filing of nomination for bye election in Nagaland ends today

<span style="color: #222222;">In Nagaland, filing of nomination for bye election to 51-Noksen Assembly Constituency under Tuensang district came to an end today.<br />'' <br />'' According to the notice of nomination issued by Sub-divisional officer (Civil) and Returning Officer, Mr. Tsiatsusie stated that till 3 PM today, it has received the nomination paper of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party, NDPP candidate Mr. H. Chuba Chang. He is also the consensus candidate of ruling People's Democratic Alliance (NDPP, BJP & Independent).<br />'' <br />'' As opposition NPF and Congress party did not file any candidate for the bye-election, the candidature of NDPP is set to be declared elected unopposed to 51-Noksen seat.<br />'' <br />'' Scrutiny of nominations will be held tomorrow, while the last date for withdrawal of candidature will be 3rd April.<br />'' <br />''The 51-Noksen seat fell vacant following the demise of the sitting Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Justice and Law, C. M. Chang on October 12 last year.</span><br />
