In the FIH Women's Hockey Pro League, India defeated Australia 1-0 at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on Saturday. After the first half, both the teams were 0-0 as they effectively defended and thwarted each other's scoring attempts. India opened their account with Vandana Katariya scoring the first goal, which led the hosts to victory.

Indian Women's Hockey team will now face the United States at Rourkela tomorrow.
