The Indian men's hockey team went down 1-4 to Netherlands in the shoot-out, despite producing a sensational performance in the FIH Pro League tournament at Rotterdam, Netherlands yesterday. Both sides were locked 2-2 at the end of the regulation time. The two teams will again play each other at Rotterdam at 8 pm today.
India are virtually out of the title race as they are placed third with 30 points from 15 games and just one match remaining. The Netherlands are leading the table with 33 points from 13 games with three matches in hand, while Olympic champions Belgium are placed second with 31 points from 14 games with two matches remaining.
