The World Health Organisation has warned that the fight against malaria, one of world's most lethal diseases, must be stepped up dramatically. The disease killed nine hundred thousand people last year, most of them African children under the age of five. The WHO says to eliminate the disease, 5 billion dollars is needed as against a commitment of 1. 7 billion dollars this year.<br/>
