54 per cent voting was recorded in the second phase of polling for 14 seats in the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly. Quoting poll officials, AIR correspondent reports that barring a landmine blast by Maoists killing a CISF jawan in Giridih district, voting went off peacefully. The third phase will be held on 8th December, the fourth phase on 12th and the fifth and final phase on 18th of this month. Counting will take place on 23rd December.<br/><br/>
