It is to be noted that while manufacturing this locomotive, all the COVID-19 protocols were followed by the employees in the workshop. A total of 12 locomotives will be produced by Central Railway. Although small in size the engine is strong enough to face the extreme cold conditions in the Sub-Himalayan region.
''
'' All the locos are equipped with an 'On demand cooling system' to cool the engine as per the requirement.
