FIFA's inspection team today set May 15 as the timeline for completing work at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. The stadium is one of the six venues selected to host matches in the Under-17 World Cup later this year. A team of 21 members of FIFA and the Local Organising Committee carried out the inspection of the Kochi stadium. They were concerned about the pace of renovation work.The delegation will travel to Navi Mumbai and Guwahati next before it concludes its inspection with a visit to Kolkata.
