In the two Group H opening encounters, while Senegal stunned Poland 2-1, Japan overcame Colombia by a similar margin. With the win Japan became the first Asian side to beat a South American team at a World Cup.
In the three matches scheduled for today, Portugal will take on Morocco in Moscow at 5.30 PM, Uruguay will face Saudi Arabia at Rostov-On-Don at 8.30 PM, while Iran will play against Spain at Kazan at 11.30 tonight.
