In the FIFA World Cup, the last 2 pre-quarterfinal matches are being played tonight.
The first match is underway between Sweden and Switzerland at Saint Petersburg.
In the second match, England will challenge Colombia at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow at 11.30 p.m.
Sweden were not expected even to make it to the World Cup but now they are within reach of their first quarter-final for 24 years.
After eliminating the Netherlands and Italy in qualifying, Sweden played their part in sending defending champions Germany home early by topping Group F with victories over South Korea and Mexico. Sweden will aim for a quarter-final spot.
Brazil and Belgium entered the quarterfinals last night. France, Uruguay, Croatia and hosts Russia are the other quarter-finalists.
On Friday, the first two quarter-finalists will be decided when France meet Uruguay at Nijzhny Norvgorod Stadium and Brazil take on Belgium at Kazan Arena.
Croatia will play Russia for a quarter-final berth at Fisht Stadium on Saturday.
The same day will also decide the other quarter-finalist between winners of today's Round of 16 game.
