In the FIFA World Cup in Russia, three matches are scheduled for today, the second day of the tournament.  In the first encounter, Egypt will take on Uruguay in Group A at 5.30 p.m at Ekaterinburg Arena. 

In the two Group B games later, Morocco will meet Iran at the Saint Petersburg Stadium in St. Petersburg at 8.30 p.m, while Portugal will face Spain at the Fisht Stadium in Sochi, at 11.30 p.m. 

The Spain versus Portugal fixture is the highly anticipated group stage clash in the ongoing World Cup. Spain are unbeaten in 20 games while European champions Portugal, have lost one competitive match since September 2014.  Having played at the Real Madrid Club for years, Club captain Sergio Ramos will certainly be wary of talismanic forward Cristiano Ronaldo's skills. 

Reigning Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo will probably be making his last attempt to crown his career with a World Cup winners' medal. Portugal and Spain's only previous World Cup encounter was in 2010, when Spain won one-nil in the pre-quarters.
